Ever wondered how many of each vegetable to grow? This calculator was developed to help you determine the number of plantings (and garden size) required to grow the right amount of food for your family based on how much you actually eat.

** For garlic, 1 clove = 0.02 cups

  11. Question: Potatoes and squash grow very well in our soil but I have a hard time storing them because they spoil. Do you have a blog post (sorry, I didn’t look) about how to keep potatoes, squash? I do can potatoes but they degrade fairly quickly and don’t taste as good as fresh. Thanks. By the way, we live close by in Cannon Falls and we loved your organic chickens last year!
