Rotate chute so its flat and closed

remove two main bottom pins holding blower

use hammer to remove pins if necessary

Remove pin holding 2-part up/down bar

pull front part of 2-part bar out first

remove pin from rear of 2-part bar

store pins together with each component

Detach gearshafts

each shaft has its own grease fitting on each end (easier to refill if still attached)

use 9/16-inch or 14mm socket to remove center gearshaft piece

Grease Fittings

Pretty much every joint has a grease fitting. Top off each in annual spring maintenance.

Annual Spring Maintenance

  • Change oil
  • Change oil filter
  • Check fuel filter
  • Top off grease fittings
  • Refill tiller oil tank

Drive up to loader, close enough to attach cables

SLOWLY drive forward

Drive forward to line up the handlebars to the legs evenly

Use the hydraulic level (push forward) to raise the legs forward while SLOWLY driving forward

Once legs are properly resting on feet screw on bolts and use crescent wrench to tighten

Attach Tiller

Start with the center bar with pins on each end. Raise arm bars with hydraulics, lift seat to find center attach point.

Wrestle tiller into position and attach arm bars
